Our Chiropractic Services
Initial Consultation
The initial visit will involve a history, physical examination and a treatment (if deemed safe by the Chiropractor). If x-rays are required we will refer you to radiology service. The first visit can take up to 30 minutes.
Standard Consultation
A standard appointment is a regular appointment required for a patient who has completed the initial appointment and requires treatment tailored to the information already obtained. This appointment time can take up to 15 minutes.
Re-Exam Chiropractic Consultation
A re-exam involves a history update, physical examination and a treatment (if deemed safe by the Chiropractor). Patients are required to have a re-exam if they have not been seen at the practice for over 6 months. This appointment takes 15 minutes.
Medicare
Medical practitioners can refer eligible patients with chronic diseases to allied health practitioners. Eligible patients can use up to 5 services per calendar year. We do not charge a gap for treatment with this referral.
DVA
You may be able to receive chiropractic services if you have an assessed clinical need and are a Veteran Gold Card; or Veteran White Card and your treatment is for an accepted service-related condition. There is no gap payable on this service, however a referral is required from your GP.
Massage
All our massages are tailored to the patient. Your massage therapist will take an initial history and then tailor your massage to your current needs and pressure level.
