Meet our Chiropractors
Danielle graduated with a Bachelor Science from the University of Queensland in 1997. She then moved to Sydney to follow her dream of becoming a Chiropractor. She graduated from Macquarie University in 2001. She then worked as a locum in far North Queensland until mid-2001 when she began work in Caloundra for 4years. Danielle and her husband Brett bought Cottontree Chiropractic in 2006. Since then Danielle has aimed to make the practice a family friendly, welcoming environment.
Danielle and Brett have 3 children – twin boys and a younger daughter. Having a young family has inspired Danielle to have a further interest in Paediatrics. She completed a 2-year diplomate of Chiropractic Paediatrics with the Australian Collage of Chiropractic Paediatrics in 2016. Danielle is passionate about children and ensuring they receive the care they deserve to grow into strong healthy adults.
Danielle is continually doing further education to help her provide the best care she can for her patients. Danielle has broad knowledge and experience in working with a wide range of spinal and peripheral related disorders and sees a wide range of general practice Chiropractic patients. She endeavours to tailor treatment to the individual using a wide range of techniques from low force to manual adjustments.
After working as a Chiropractic Assistant, Tiffiny realised she wanted to study to become a Chiropractor. Five years later, in 2011, she graduated with her Masters of Chiropractic at Macquarie University.
Tiffiny began her career in Bathurst and then purchased her own clinic in Young, NSW in 2013. She really enjoyed the scope and pace of a country practice. After getting to know her patients and their families, it was very difficult to leave but it was time for a sea-change, and in 2017 she started working at Cotton Tree Chiropractic.
Tiffiny has continued to build her skills. She has completed a dry needling certification and often uses this to complement her chiropractic adjustments. She has also done further study in scoliosis, paediatric conditions and in neurological causes of back pain, dizziness and headaches.
Tiffiny enjoys getting to know her patients and providing them with skills and tools to help achieve their health goals.
Our Massage Therapist
After working in the building industry for the last 30 years, playing years of rugby league and rowing surf boats at an elite level, Lincoln knows what it feels like to have tired and sore muscles. With an obvious love of sport, this love has naturally led to an interest in massage therapy specialising in remedial and trigger point therapy. Although specialising in these areas, Lincoln also offers relaxation massage. Lincoln was lucky enough to work with the Western Bulldogs at the start of the 2019 season and has also been working with the local Maroochydore Swans Rugby League Club with the seniors’ teams through their season as a volunteer. In his spare time, Lincoln loves to spend time with his family, swim at the beach as often as possible and camp at Fraser Island.
Our Chiropractic Assistants are…
On a holiday to Alexandra Headland with her now husband in 1999, Melinda said “I would love to live here one day” and some 15 years later they moved here with their 2 daughters. Mel has been a patient of the clinic before moving here, receiving treatment whilst on holidays and has been a long term patient of chiropractic care, along with her family. In April 2016, Mel joined the reception team at Cottontree Chiropractic and works Monday and Tuesdays. Melinda originates from country NSW and had the opportunity to move around both NSW and to Mackay QLD with her banking career. Mel enjoys welcoming new and existing patients into the clinic and making them feel at ease, together with the day to day running of reception. Baking, crocheting, bike riding, bush walking and exploring the Sunshine Coast with her family are some of the things Mel likes to do in her spare time!
Sandy joined our team at reception in 2019. She has lived all of her life on the Sunshine Coast and has been a long term patient of the clinic. Sandy loves to help patients feel welcome and comfortable in the clinic with her friendly manner.
